Live from Hochstein – Madrigalia: A Physically Distanced Cup of Good Cheer

Our annual celebration of the holiday season with the choral chamber ensemble Madrigalia, Cary Ratcliff, artistic director. Small groups of singers – solos, duets, quartets – will perform selections appropriate to the season.

Under Ratcliff’s direction, the chorus has released two CD recordings: For Better, For Worse: Music About Marriage, and On This Day Earth Shall Ring. The chorus also contributed to the recording of Ratcliff’s large-scale opera Eleni.

The Hochstein School’s lunchtime Live from Hochstein concert series will be broadcast live on WXXI Classical 91.5/90.3 FM and hosted by WXXI Classical 91.5’s Mona Seghatoleslami.

Please note that because of health and safety guidelines during the pandemic, the fall concert series will be broadcast without a live audience in the Performance Hall.
